Celebrate all the wonderful mothers and mother-figures in your life with a tasty tea at McDougall Cottage, made just for them! Looking for a meaningful and memorable way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Treat the mothers and mother-figures in your life to a delightful afternoon tea in our cozy, 168-year-old stone Cottage. Relax and enjoy our classic Cottage tea, featuring an assortment of freshly prepared tea sandwiches, scones with preserves and whipped cream, buttery shortbread, and more! As a special thank-you, all moms who join us will receive a wee gift to take home. Reservations are required and space is limited, so reserve your spot now! Cost: 29.95 + HST per person. Tickets are also available for in-person purchase at the Cottage during McDougall's hours of operation. Tickets are non-refundable. Register Now   Museum members receive a 10% discount by using "Memcode". Museum Volunteers receive a 10% discount by using "Volcode".   Please note: Since McDougall Cottage is not a restaurant, we may not always be able to accommodate dietary restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate requests when possible. If you have questions regarding dietary restrictions please contact us before purchase at mcdougall@regionofwaterloo.ca. Gluten-free options are only available in our specialty gluten-free teas.
