Build strong roots—learn soil and planting basics, take home thriving perennials. Preparing to Garden Learn all there is to know about starting a garden! A hands-on overview of soil preparation, essential tools, methods of watering, fertilizing and preventing weeds. Participants will sow seeds and learn how to care for tender seedlings. Transplanting and arranging perennial flowers is a highlight of the workshop. Participants will take home a selection of potted perennials to transplant into their own gardens. Registration required. Presenter: Bob Wildfong Pricing: $25.00 per person plus HST and Eventbrite fee. Register Now Please note that this workshop takes place inside the Main Museum and Outside.
