Plan to join us as we delve into the rich industrial history of downtown Galt with our NEWEST Soup and Stroll: Echoes of Galt's Industrial Past.

Wander through time as we discover why Galt earned the title “Manchester of Canada” and explore how the Grand River fueled a thriving manufacturing hub. Admire the enduring architecture that tells the story of Galt’s industrial past before heading back to our cozy Cottage on the banks of the Grand for a tasty bowl of home-made traditional Scottish soup.

Please email us in advance if you would like a vegetarian option for the soup.

Note: No washroom facilities available during tour. This walking tour may include hills, stairs, and uneven terrain. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather. The tour will proceed rain or shine, but in the event of severe weather that necessitates rescheduling, an email will be sent to all participants at least one hour before the start time.

The walks will leave the Cottage promptly at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so register early!

$35/participant (+HST ). Ticket includes walk and soup. This event is non-refundable.
