Recommended for kids ages 10 and up, join local author Dana L. Church as she uncovers the amazing world of the bees that pollinate your garden and your food. Her book "The Beekeepers: How Humans Changed the World of Bumble Bees" is an expertly researched and fun overview of bumble bees, diving deep into the science and stories of this common but crucially important insect.

The book event includes a craft and an exclusive tour of our Amazing Pollinators exhibit. In Amazing Pollinators, you can act as a bee, bat, butterfly, and more as you play to survive life as a pollinator!

All activities will be socially distanced and masks are required. All registrations will require proof of vaccination upon entry.
